Priya Gupta, DO

Dr. Priya Gupta is a skilled physician who is board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

A graduate of Des Moines University Osteopathic College of Medicine, Dr. Gupta completed her internal medicine residency at Garden City Hospital and a nephrology fellowship at Ascension Saint John Macomb Hospital in Michigan. She has been practicing medicine since 2022.

Dr. Gupta chose the field of nephrology due to her love for kidney physiology and making long-term relationships with a diverse patient population. She treats a wide range of kidney and kidney-related disorders, including chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, diabetes mellitus, genetic disorders, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, kidney stones, and patients requiring dialysis. She puts a strong emphasis on preventive care in her practice. She is also a strong advocate for home therapies, including home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
